Spellsword Cards has a number of card types that enable you to combat epic foes and pesky rats alike.
Weapons fall into two categories: melee and ranged. You equip a weapon to your Hero to perform an attack. Ranged attacks are unique as they don't attract a counter attack from your enemy. Weapons have a durability limit of turns after which they are destroyed.
Skills are cards that are innate to your hero. Thus they are available without having to draw them to hand at any time. They can be passive such as bonus damage or active like Recuperate which can be used a limited number of times.
Creatures of elemental, demonic, divine or nature can be called to aid the summoner. Some creatures have abilities such as Guard which protects the Hero from attacks until they are destroyed.
Spells range from simple damage like Minor Zap, to complicated rituals like Mass Raise Dead. The more powerful spells require more action points to cast. Thus you'll need to wait to amass enough to perform the most devastating of spells.
